In a potential first for Steam, dev turns pictures of their "very gentle" wife into a horrific RPG boss in the ultimate act of love: "She is ready to be unleashed"
For creative people, inspiration can be found anywhere and everywhere in the world… even a half-eaten KFC meal or your wife's sleeping face, as one indie dev behind a promising upcoming turn-based RPG has proven. Please behold Billy the Hero – a dark fantasy RPG where you step into the shoes of an amnesiac bear (Billy), who happens to be "the world's worst criminal embodying all 7 Deadly Sins," according to its Steam page. "I have what it takes to continue this series' legacy" Hideaki Itsuno may have left Capcom, but Dragon's Dogma 2's new director reckons the RPG is still in good hands
In August 2024, Dragon's Dogma 2 director Hideaki Itsuno left Capcom after "30 years and five months" at the Japanese publisher. The legendary developer, responsible for creating Dragon's Dogma and championing the Devil May Cry franchise, is practically synonymous with the former. It's a well-known story that he originally conceived of the game around the time he was working on Devil May Cry in the early 2000s, and had to fight hard for time and budget when preparing the launch of the original D

Fallout: New Vegas director Josh Sawyer reveals his optimal outcome for the Mojave Wasteland
Fallout: New Vegas is a sprawling RPG filled with sketchy factions, greasy NPCs, rubbery morality, and tough decisions, all of which ultimately lead the player to one of four possible outcomes that share one thing in common: They're not great. Kingdom Hearts 4 News Could Come Sooner Than You Think

This year in particular may be worth pa

Beast Of Reincarnation Has Sekiro Vibes, But It Won’t Beat You Down
Beast of Reincarnation looks set to kick off a busy August when it launches early in the month, and ahead of its arrival, we've gotten a fresh look at Game Freak's upcoming action-RPG.
