FX's upcoming anthology TV series Far Cry, based on Ubisoft's hit first-person shooter video game franchise, is adding five more actors to its cast as it heads towards production. Oscar nominees Jennifer Jason Lee (Hateful Eight, Fargo) and Brendan Gleeson (Spider-Noir, The Banshees of Inisherin) have signed on, as have Hamish Linklater (Batman: Caped Crusader, The Whisper Man), Sam Spruell (Game of Thrones: A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms), and Jamie Demetriou (Only Murders in the Building).

The upcoming 99 Nights in the Forest movie, based on the super-popular Roblox survival-horror game, has reportedly brought on a very big name. According to The Hollywood Reporter, 20th Century Studios--which is owned by Disney--has hired Josh Cooley to write the script. Cooley directed the Oscar-winning Pixar movie Toy Story 4. He also earned an Academy Award nomination for Inside Out. Beyond Disney movies, Cooley directed Transformers One. 99 Nights in the Forest is coming to the big screen.

The latest Physint poster may have given us our first bit of plot details about Hideo Kojima's upcoming Metal Gear spiritual successor.
